about me:



Z E N Y A M E R C H A N T



Zenya Merchant is an 11-year-old artist and student at St. Francis Episcopal School. She enjoys painting, playing the piano, cheerleading, and exploring YouTube.

Inspired by watching her mother, accomplished Houston artist Sneha Merchant, Zenya developed a love for art at a young age. Her style is unique, using thick, textured layers of acrylic paint applied with a palette knife to create bold, vibrant compositions.
She draws inspiration from artists like Llordi, whose work she admired during a summer trip to Europe.

Zenya has also participated in the USIA Art Exhibition Contest, reaching the national round, an experience that fueled her growth as a young artist.

With a passion for color, texture, and creative expression, Zenya continues to explore her artistic voice with energy and imagination.
